REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) years of tertiary qualification in Labour Relations Management/ BCOM Law/ LLB. A valid Driver’s licence (B). One (1) 12 months of useful journey in Inspection Enforcement Services. Knowledge: Departmental Policies and Procedures, Skill Development act, Labour Relations Act, Basic Condition of Employment Act, Skill Development Levies Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, COIDA, Unemployed Insurance Act, UI Contribution Act, and Employment Equity Act. Skills: Facilitation, Planning and Organising, Computer Literacy, Interpersonal skills, hostilities coping with skills, negotiations, Problem-solving, and interviewing, listening and statement skills.

DUTIES: Plan and independently conduct inspections with the intention of making sure compliance with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA) Execute investigations independently on suggested instances pertaining to contraventions of labour rules and put them into effect as and when necessary. Plan and habits (Blitz) inspections commonly reveal compliance with labour legislation. Conduct advocacy campaigns on all labour laws independently. Draft and preserve inspection plans and reviews inclusive of evaluation and compilation of consolidated
statistical reviews on only allotted cases.
