This is a busy, fast-paced operation that gives many challenges and possibilities for the proper person. These positions are based at Ndlovu Park, Pietermaritzburg.
Role Outline
• To make a contribution to a productive working environment
• To work inside any running region and operate extra duties, as decided by using Management and the wants of the Business
• De-stacking, labelling, sorting products, and taking out damages
• Ensure that damages are stored to a minimum
• Sorting and collating damages on an everyday basis
• Be actively worried about and aid trade initiatives
• Honesty – delight in your job and an eye for detail
• Ensure housekeeping in the place is up to standard
• Operate with integrity and moral values
• Perform duties in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures
• Correct use of the gear and timeously document any defects/faults
• Participation in inventory counts
• Parcelling, wrapping, or tying of goods
• Operate a hand-operated pallet jack
• Inspect inventory integrity
• Report and document any non-conformity with regards to the customer’s merchandise or dangerous acts
• Handle items with care to reduce damages
• Maintain an excessive stage of hygiene in the work area
• Complete duties timeously
• Adhere to the Unit’s SHE guidelines and great practices
• Ensure that product safety, fine, and integrity are now not compromised
• Report any person’s behaviour that may also influence the safety, quality, and integrity of the saved product
• Manual handling
