TELECOM OPERATOR (X2 POSTS)
SALARY : R183 279 per annum

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum instructional qualification: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade nine (Std. 7). Inherent requirement of the job: Work shifts, night time shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Work beyond regular time when required for operational needs. Experience Appropriate trip in running an digital switchboard and a messaging system. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Ability to operate an digital switchboard. Excellent listening capabilities and smartphone etiquette. Computer literacy in Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
DUTIES : Operate digital switchboards, answer telephonic queries, and deliver messages. Ensure that the switchboard and telephone equipment are in working order. Monitor, place, and document all cellular, national, and worldwide calls made. Effectively sending of bulk SMS’s. Perform administration duties in the paging office. Update velocity dials and pace dial listing and document all smartphone faults and switchboard mistakes to the Supervisor.
