REQUIREMENTS: A SAQA identified Bachelor of Science Degree in Informatics/Computer Science or equivalent, with a specialization in database software development. Knowledge and journey in GIS functions and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) will be a delivered advantage. 2-3 Years’ work journey in database utility improvement and management. A mixture with spatial mapping/GIS will be a delivered advantage. Critical/analytical and problem-solving. Good frequent pc literacy – pictures software program information will be a delivered advantage. Good written and oral communications and stakeholder engagement skills.

DUTIES: The profitable candidate will be accountable to aid in growing and preserving database structures for spatial mapping services; Analyse, recommending, ing and designing spatial mapping, and planning database structures and options to combine with the larger, complicated department-wide and internal/external dealing with organization spatial planning environment; Collect & collate, analyze and keep massive portions of data; Create a tourism infrastructure machine to guide and inform the branch in computing and data science efforts. Provide excellent assurance of all tourism spatial databases. Provide assistance & recommendations to provinces and municipalities on spatial mapping outputs/services. Actively take part in and aid a variety of projects, such as the mapping of the department’s district improvement model.
