REQUIREMENTS: The regular minimal necessities relevant to the posts are as follows: Applicants ought to show competency in the post-specific core features of the post; Be fluent in at least two of the reliable languages, of which one has to be English; Be a South African Citizen; Must have no preceding crook / departmental convictions or criminal/departmental instances pending; Applicants will be subjected to a vetting manner which will consist of protection screening and fingerprint verification. Additional Requirements: In possession of a Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational) recorded on the National Learner Record Database on NQF stage 4; Certificate in meals practice and/or catering will serve as an advantage; The capability to function fundamental machines and equipment; Willing to work prolonged hours, when necessary.

DUTIES: Administer usual mess matters; Administer mess purchases; Control Mess stock; Set up the kitchen for meal preparations with cooking utensils and equipment; Plan, pre-preparation/cook of meals as per healthful menu; Ensure well-cooked meals and attractive plate presentation; Serve ingredients and furnish waiter service; Compliance in phrases of hygiene and security guidelines in the kitchen.
