REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) year National Diploma (NQFL 6) / Undergraduate Degree (NQFL 7)
in Electrical Engineering. Four (4) years of the purposeful trip in Electrical Engineering offerings and a legitimate driver’s license. Knowledge: Departmental Policies and Procedures, Batho Pele principles, Public Service Act and Regulations, OHS Act and Regulations, OHSAS, OHS standards, OHS Management System. Skills: Facilitation, Planning and Organizing, Computer literacy, Interpersonal, Problem Solving, Communication (verbal & written), Innovative, Analytical, Research, Project management.
DUTIES: Provide inputs into the improvement of Electrical Engineering Policies and make sure implementation of OHS Strategy for the Department of Employment and Labour in phrases of OHS Legislation. Conduct complicated inspections for Electrical Engineering generally as per the OHS programme. Conduct technical lookup on the state-of-the-art traits in Electrical Engineering in phrases of Occupational Health and Safety. Provide a guide for enforcement motions including preparation of reviews for prison proceedings.
